"A Wonderful Experience, the road trip into Milford Sound was even better than the Sounds"

"This must be the best way to see Milford Sound. We booked up with Fiordland Tours after being recommended by the iSite office. We wanted a small tour with a focus on nature and wildlife. It was a bit more expensive than the larger coach tours but worth every penny. Ray - our guide was lovely. Couldn't be more helpful and really gave us a personal trip stopping regularly to point out the sights and places to explore on the way to Milford Sound. We drove to the sound in a luxury minibus. Ray was extremely passionate, friendly and couldn't have been a more enjoyable guide. The tour hooks up with a small boat once in the sound which is again a lovely way to be able to explore such a beautiful place. I couldn't have imagined a better tour and would thoroughly recommend this to anyone really interested getting close up to the sights"

"We stayed a couple of days at Birchwood Cottages, and enjoyed this great one day trip to the Milford Sound. Besides the absolutely beautiful sceneries and views, the best aspect of this trip is the totally relaxed way of spending the day together with a small group. No hurry, no worries, that's the way we like it! Ray's personal touch and comments are really making this trip as one of the best we've done during our NZ trip that lasted for almost 3 months. A must-do!"
